Data Lab/Post-Race Analysis
Tyre strategy, pit stops, lap times, overtakes, race control, and team radio when available — every session dissected.
Tyre Strategy
Shows every driver's tyre stint from the race — compound choice, stint length, and the lap each pit stop was made. A well-timed tyre call can be the difference between a podium and a points finish, making this the single most revealing view of a team's strategic thinking.
Pit Stops
Lists every pit stop with precise stop times down to the millisecond. A sub-2.5 second stop is considered exceptional; anything above 4 seconds typically costs a driver a position on track. The pit stop log reveals which team's mechanics are performing under pressure.
Lap Times
Traces each driver's lap-by-lap pace across the race distance. Look for the performance window — the stretch of laps where a driver is pushing hard on fresh tyres. Safety car periods and virtual safety cars appear as sudden lap-time spikes across the field.
Overtakes
Logs every on-track position change with lap number and the drivers involved. Distinguishes between overtakes under braking, in DRS zones, and via strategy — giving a full picture of whether the race was decided on track or in the pit lane.
Race Control
The official FIA Race Control message feed: safety cars, virtual safety cars, flags, penalties, and stewards' decisions in chronological order. Race control decisions often reshape the entire strategic picture of a Grand Prix in a matter of seconds.
Team Radio
Selected team radio clips from the session, when available. Driver-engineer exchanges reveal strategy calls in real time — from tyre compound instructions to positions on rivals and warnings about car issues that never make the broadcast.
